Hi Green-girl

great to see you back

Best of luck with your plans - there are a few people that have grown bits and pieces in containers so hopefully will be some good suggestions out there.

Thanks Shirley :)

I've been thinking about it and I think I would be best to do some small growing here, but try to find an allotment. Not sure about this - they don't seem to be very common around here.... but there is a City Farm not too far from me - I'm thinking of contacting them and seeing if they rent out allotments or something. That way I could swing past there after work or before work and check on things and go there on the weekends..... hmmm....

I'm not much of a gardner, but I'd love to give it a shot! It'd be awesome to grow my own fruit & veg!

Thanks for the welcome back everyone! :) It's nice to be back!

My weeks are a little busy, so I'm going to start researching more indepth on the weekend as to what my next steps will be.

I'm liking the sound of the no-dig gardens, but given that I have to garden in containers, I'm guessing that's not possible.....but if I can get that plot at the City Farm, I'll be laughing!

Nice to see you back with us again!

I will be in Brissy the week after Easter so let me know if you want to get together for a feed and a chat.
