Post: # 87970Post WendyHouse »

Hi all

I'm Wendy from Surrey. I am mum of three boys, two cats, one pregnant, one rabbit, tank of fish, chickens and quails (quail eggs in the incubator with 5 days to go).
I like to grow my own veg for the family in my garden. I love this time of year as I know spring is on its way!
looking forward to getting to know you all more. :flower:

Hello wendy! :hello2:

Are you planning a veg patch or growing in pots?

Thanks very much for the welcomes

I moved into this house last year, so last year I grow in pots. Didn't do too bad considering how wet and cold it was in the summer. Cucumbers did very well. This year I have dug and manured out a patch at the top of the garden and I'm also growing along the borders of my garden. Also some pots for tomatoes and herbs. My last house had a nice size plot so could grow plants that needed a lot of space but here space will have to be well used. I have done my march seeds and they are coming up nicely in the cold frame. Praying for no more frost! My garden is divided in half with a picket fence so the hens can have one half and the veg the other, well that's the plan anyhow.
