Hi from Middlesbrough

Post: # 88344Post HomeMattersMost »

Hi all

I've just joined this forum. I am from Middlesbrough and am quite passionate about becoming more self sufficient.

I live in a 3 bed semi but am currently turning my back garden into a square foot garden with all organic veg, fruit and herbs.

I'm trying to eat up what's left in my store cupboard so I can move towards exclusively eating organic foods. I am also quite passionate about buying fairtraded goods, so looking for organic, fair trade foods is a challenge!

I have posted on the 'eco products' thread as I have started a new business which I am excited about. I have created products that I don't think were easily obtainable elsewhere or I probably would have bought them already myself. But I couldn't find any so I started my own business.

I am a mother of a beautiful 4 year old girl and am loving working from home and being able to cook homecooked meals for us, take care of my home and try to bring in an income with the flexibility to still be a family too.

Anyway that's me in a nutshell!

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer

Looking forward to getting to know you better :flower:

Good luck with your new business.

I'd be very interested in learning more about your square foot garden - do you have any pics?
