Hello and welcome from neighbouring Brittany! Do you have a place in Normandy already? Whereabouts is it - or whereabouts are you looking?

Hi all,
MillyMollyMandy, yes we have a place in Normandy, just outside of Lonlay l'abbey nr.Domfront. Its a doer upper. So far during holidays we've converted a Bread oven in to a 2 bed cottage and there is 2 old very derealict houses/barnes we're hoping to start on soon. We have friends in Brittany who we visited last year and friends in the South who we visited the year before. We're really looking forward to moving out there once our daughter leaves home (or is pushed if she takes too long) . :angel13:

welcome to 'ish... do put up some photos of your place, it sounds fascinating - converting a bread oven into a 2 bed cottage... that is amazing...

aha... you need to upload your photos onto a picture host... I use photobucket but there are others.

once it is there you can just copy and paste the link and the photo pops up here

I hope this will help with uploading photos:

I think a photo of the 'bread oven' conversion is needed - or some people might think you are rather tiny!
