I've been interested in homebrewing since I was a kid, parents had all the kit so I made lot's of disgusting flavoured concoctions through my teenage years some of which had some desired and also undesired effects!
Stumbled accorss the site looking for cider recipes... just tried my 'Ciderish' last week and needless to say it made me sleep very well that night.
I understand it is important to take on plenty of liquid when exercising, so I'm going to try and make some of Stoney's stronger nettle beer for my next brew... purely to help me turn my small bit of wasteland into a beautiful fertile veg garden/ playground for me and the wife and kids.
I'm guessing the recipe needs fresh bakers yeast????
Also I've just made a purchase on ebay of some common hop seeds which I plan to plant somewhere for this year, so any help with some simple ales would be greatly appreciated too.
Fantastic site by the way.
