Hello form North Wales
Hi All
I have just joined here and jumped in to say hello.I live in North East Wales with my partner. We have a fairly small garden which we use every inch of to grow as much as we can. John Seymour's books used to be my bibles when I had a smallholding and I still use them regularly.
We are gradually building up the fertility of the soil and hopefully will get a pretty good crop of fruit and veg this year.
In my spare time I am a weaver so work at home most of the time which is really useful if something urgent needs doing in the garden before the rain or wind destroys something.
Cheers
Hazel

Welcomes
Hi
Thanks for all the welcomes
I weave anything that can be woven.
Scarves, shawls, rugs, fabric for clothing, table linen etc etc. I started as a spinner and still spin but started weaving years and years ago and am now addicted. So much, so, that I am studying to be master weaver.

Weaving - what is it you create? I'd love to get to the point one of these days (years, decades...) where I can make my own rugs at least... Need to get the spinning bit done first, though.

Hi Peggy
Small world. An aunt of mine lives not too far away from you in Hilton and I have been to Godmanchester many times in the past when I visited her.
It would seem cold over here compared to over there <g>
