Does anyone know of piglets that are available for purchase in the Dordogne area of France? Traditional breed preferably for outdoor living in oak woodland.

Hi - did you find your weaners in the Dordogne?

Have you tried www.pigsinfrance.com?

There are also a couple of guys on the Totalfrance forum who advertise rare breed pigs, Eco4you, and Steve Hanson who is relocating his small holding and has a selection of breeding pigs, sows in pig and weaners for sale. www.totalfrance.com

Good luck.

Sorry if I'm too late to be of assistance, Monika

Thanks for that. We did manage to find a couple of weaners over near Le Bugue. We'll pick them up in a week or so, as soon as we've built an ark and fenced the future veggie patch.

Cheers for those extra contacts, though.
