I will be following your not buying anything blog with interest 'cos I am doing the same thing! There was a wee discussion here about it.

Not bought anything new so far, but have a wee archaeology job coming up later this month and am going to need to buy some PPE for it

Does that count tho 'cos it's going through my business

Well, if your employer provides it, you don't have to buy it...

What do you need? Maybe we can find you some secondhand stuff?

Ina - I am my employer..... but my rigger boots are letting in water and I need a yellow vest (sexy huh?)

Ah - I could possibly get you safety wellies, if they are any good. Yellow vest - I only have my own, and I'd prefer to keep that in the car!

Thanks for the welcome other peeps. :) There seem to be goals to not buy anything all over this year. :)

I'm feeling a bit of a failure about it already because of the gardener, but I'm just trying to forget that and get on with the rest of the year!
