I am packing away all the xmas stuff now, I have put all the cards into a box, My plan is to dig the box out in good time for next xmas and have a card remixing session with the kids.

(someone remember to bump this thread near xmas  )

Last year I remade all my cards into new ones just after Christmas. I was still inspired by Christmas at the time and there was no time pressure. It was quite lovely to pull them all out in December and see them again. It was like getting new cards.

I shall have a go for this year soon.

On a similar note I am thinking about making next years pudding VERY soon - otherwise it will be December again and I will not have made it

I like to make the pudding in February/March. That way it's well matured by December and one less thing to make then.

I left all my homemade card and pressie and decoration making till December last year, and then realised that there was nowhere near enough time to finish everything - so I have started knitting and sewing for Christmas 2008 now, and hopefully all will be ready for December.

we always make it on stir up sunday, which is the 5th Sunday before Christmas day. Usually works out to be the last Sunday in November.
not rushed.. just part of the ritual.
