Hello from Derbyshire

Post: # 79507Post The Hopefuls »

Hello everyone, Kev and Brooke here from the heart of derbyshire UK here.. we have been intrested in self-suffiency things for the past 3-4 years , we have just brought a nice house with 1.5acres with 2acre grassland (with a small orchard on one corner) with a steam boardering one long side , (so a total of 3.5acres ) and not a neigbour in site lol
So basically its everything we could have wished for.

So hoping to get some help and advice of you folks

this is the 2 acre grassy bit with the house right at the bottom, with the other 1.5 achre behind the fence, and advice on how to get the best use would be appreciated, so far i only have parrots and dogs but have my eyes on some ex-battery hens in the near future

Hi Hopefuls and welcome! Looks lovely. You'll certainly need some kind of 'lawn mower' for that paddock.
