Hello there

Post: # 78524Post spamchops »

Hello
We are Pam and Miles and we live in cambridgeshire. We moved here 18 months ago from hampshire so that we could afford somewhere cheapish with a bit of land, we started off with a wild half acre strip of garden and a run down bungalow! We have lots of chooks, mainly Orpingtons and this year raised two old spot pigs for the freezer and two orphan lambs. Still renovating the bung but the garden is nearly there! We also have lots of ducks (too many..) and five cats and a malamute puppy....

Here's miles with one of the lambs in the spring, cor they were hard work...!

Hi Pam & Miles... how lovely to have a photo with your intro post.

Hard work with the lambs, but worth it eh! :flower:

Looking forward to getting to know you.

Hello from Canada

Welcome, I've been here about 9 months and I'm still finding new things on the site--except I haven't figured out how to load pictures yet.

HIya both - welcome to the Ishers!

Tell me about raising orphan lambs... I do it almost professionally - about 30 - 40 the last couple of years. But it find it strangely satisfying, too.

Hi Pam and Miles.....Welcome from Ireland...watch out, writing on a forum site gets addictive. I haven't seen my garden for a week! I say it's because of the wet weather, but it's sunny here and I am still typing away!!

Hi there, I'm in Cambridgeshire too! Godmanchester, but haven't got any land so have got stuck into an allotment. Shame we can't keep chickens you must be in a more 'remote' part of the county! :flower:
