Awww thank you - at least you all remembered sniff sniff my hubby forgot until last night sniff sniff and my daughter wants to take my birthday chocs into school because her teacher likes them !!!

I find it helps to drop little hints about my birthday... like a wee song

"tis the season too be jolly
it's only 4 days un-til my birthday"
It works with weeks and months too :mrgreen:

Or a hum a "it's nearly my birthday, it's nearly my birthday" kind of hum to your hubby in the weeks leading up to it. Have I been reading too much winnie-the-pooh?

Or something extra subtle, like have a bunch of flowers, or just a parcel delivered in the post to you the day before your birthday and say "hmmm, I wonder who this is from, it must be a birthday present" that way you are nearly guarenteed a good gift too (as he'll need to out-do the big parcel)


Well I hope he'll make up for it anyway.
