Found the site after reading some of Andys ramblings (sorry Andy..lol)..Andy,for what its worth im one of those people with an orchard ..Cant see any reason why you shouldnt be sucessful asking for peoples unpicked crops...I embarrasingly grow far more than i/we as a family can eat,or otherwise have time to process,Ive given up trying to give mine away as very few people seem interested nowadays unless you "give it to them on a plate"..!!! ...Give it a go and ask...!!!
For what its worth i have 4 allotments and a decent garden, love to chat about anything assosciated with gardening...Keith...Oh,and I swear by soot !!! Marvelous stuff !!!!
Curry cures everything!!! Its just a case of getting the quantity right...

Hiya Sooty - 4 allotments!   Doesn't that keep you a bit busy? No wonder you don't have time to do something with all the fruit!
