Gidday
OOps, the little bat, yes.
And we do now have stoats and ferrets that were introduced, like I said, stupid bloody people bringing those sorta things in here. Our flightless birds don't stand much of a chance against things like that, but they still don't attack people so the pig is the most fearsome wild animal we have.

"1. What's best about your country?
2. What's worst about your country?
3. What institution would you like to reform?
4. Give a brief outline of what you believe your countries ethos to be.
5. Describe a contrast within your country?
6. What were the causes of WW2 (not really) "
1.
a) best bout NZ: by and large we have sensible govenance - not a lap dog of BleezelBush
b) we are a long way from anywhere as the fallout flys - in the even of WW3 we are pretty much fine no real nuke/radiation threat and enough land that can be gardened/farmed that people are unlikely to starve if trade is cut off.
c) We have a diversity of environments and people; you should be able to find somewher you like and feel like you fit in.
d) we have one of the highest percentages of energy generated by renewables in the world
2. worst about:
a) a tendancy toward nanny state maybe?
b) endless damn treaty of waitangi claims
c) a tendancy for insane political correctness
3. reform: Land transport authority - more rail, rail electification and eliminate all new and proposed roading projectts for preferance
more later if i remember :-)

Seriously I was at the hair dressers once and the lady next to me was on holiday from America. She was talking about her travel plans and after going to the capital she wanted to visit middle earth and see all the old relic and ruins and stuff from the movies. She was serious!!!!! She thought it was between the north and south islands.Annpan wrote:Isn't it a bit dangerous, what with all the orcs and ring wraiths?

Just because I can't do everything I won't fail to do something.

1. What's best about your country? - The beauty.
2. What's worst about your country? - The government wants to control small everyday things e.g. child rearing.

4. Give a brief outline of what you believe your countries ethos to be.
I think overall we're commited to a more simple life than the rest of the world. We have the been blessed with alot of water around us.
5. Describe a contrast within your country?
Desert Road - its such a strange sight in the middle of the north Island which is mainly green.
