CC, we need to get together! I have legs, you have arms.

Look after yourself and I'll try to do the same.

Thanks to everyone for the messages.

Another crofter gave me the and the Wee 'Un a lift into the village this morning so I could get painkillers and he could go to nursery. She'll collect him as well.

The school's janitor is attempting to cycle the trike back here now - he's a fit ex-navy diver who cycles all the time, but he's never ridden a trike before and is a bit nervous!

The OH had to work her socks off this morning doing the chores, but I did manage to get breakfast and packed lunches done. Dinner is going to be a bit harder.

Thanks again.

Really sorry to hear about this accident Stoney - what a miserable b**** the white van driver is - whether on purpose or not. I hope the police catch up with him/her.

I'm afraid I can't offer any help either - I'm still incapacitated after prolapsing a disc in my neck. Baldowrie has posted a cry for help on the Neeps forum too.

Hope the painkillers kick in quickly - those teas that CC is talking about sound good. Hope you are healed quickly too CC.

Gosh, how horrible. I hope you're not feeling too shaken now and that your bones and grazes heal well and quickly. Can't do much to help on the croft as I'm down south but you certianly have my best wishes. If there is anything I can do remotely, just say.
Get well soon.

There's a tale of somebody we like
With a crunch and a scrape and a strike
It's of woe and affray
It's a show of dismay
It's of Stoney in Transit on trike

Get better soon, Stoney.

Stoney
What are the chances of getting some paid help? Even if it's just someone to pick up the kids and do a bit of cooking and cleaning to give Mrs S some more time. I really do feel a bit useless down here but I'd happily make a contribution if it'd help. Do you have a paypal account?

was thinking of you on the trike the other day as we finally got the trailer fixed to my bike and loaded the wains into the bike for a quick sprint. I was aware of needing to keep in but not too much, but I can't believe someone would purposely knock you off! I hope you did get their reg, and bring swift and unholy retribution on these jackasses.

I too am a bit too far to offer help, but do offer my condolences (this doesn't bring in the potatoes, I know).

Condolences to all the other people falling to pieces on this list!

Very quick as it's late. I've had some nasty responses (not here) and some criticisms for not thanking the right people fast enough. Response is on my blog.

A couple of people here have contacted me to offer help. Haven't been in touch due to be very busy - again honest details on the blog.

Will try to contact people tomorrow, but have a doctor's appointment in the morning plus all usual school run stuff.

Please, don't think I'm not responding, not thanking people, not being appreciative, etc. I am. I just don't have the time or energy to communicate in the right order at the right time and say the expected things. Whatever they are.

I've just read through all the comments on your blog.   There are some sad sickos out there! I'm amazed that you can find the energy to even turn the computer on, let alone type one handed. Go and put your feet up by the fire and ignore all the prats with nothing better to do with their time.
