Hi there.
I know I have only been here for a couple of days but I would like to ask all the experts on here for some advice.
I only have a small cottage/courtyard style garden and this year was the first time I have had a chance to have a go at growing some stuff. I only have pots and a small mini greenhouse. ( You know, one of those tiered shelved units, covered over with plastic and a zip up door).
Anyway I enthusiastically planted out and grew a few diff types of chillis, peppers, garlic, tomatos, radishes, I had a couple of purple sprouting broccolli in pots, but went away for two nights to come home and find it had been almost toally devoured!
I also grew cucumbers in pots, (which werent a total success) aswell as a few different types of mint ( garden pineapple, buddhlia, spearmint), chives, parsley and strawberries in a strawberry pot.
What I would like to know is what else I can grow in pots, successfully and what (if anything) I can start off under the plastic, now, ready for spring time.
I also have a lovely cherry tree and a climbing blackcurrant but have little room for anything else large.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I look forward to any advice.
S-J.
Some advice please.

I'm growing zucchini and I've seen people growing potatoes in large bags. I've also got a lemon tree in a pot and I'm about to buy a grafted tree which I'll put in a pot. The tree will have 3 or 4 different stone fruits grafted onto it, so one tree 4 fruits! I can't wait. (unfortunately I'm in Aust so the info on the company that grows them would be useless)
I was thinking about trying pumpkin in a pot.
Have fun and good luck.
