Crystalized Ginger

Post: # 73544Post hoomin_erra »

Big favourite of mine, and recently saw 3 lbs of it reduced to £2 in a shop.

So, am intending to make Ginger wine, but also thought i'd give crystalized ginger a go.

Just finished!!!
YUMMY!!!!!!!!!

I grow it in my florida garden. I may try crystallizing some when I harvest in a few months.

Usually, I'll try a different recipe for ginger beer, and slice some ginger up in sherry to keep in the fridge.
