Here you go...yummy, yummy
1 tin of chick peas
1 medium onion (finely choped)
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tbsp Cumin seeds
pinch of salt
whiz together in a food procesor (or do what I do and bash them with a rolling pin, the attack with hand held blender)
Use a bit of plain flour to stop them sticking to your hands and form into balls or small patties.
Shallow fry in olive or vegetable oil
Now as I say these are super easy and yummy, the biggest problemo is getting them to stick together, the trick is to make sure at least 50% of your chickpeas are finely mushed.
Some people add egg, most recipies call for garlic too and you could use fresh herbs. start with the basic recipe then you can play around with it all you want.

I add garlic and an egg yolk if it's not sticking, but I also use Gram flour if I then send it the other way (which has happened 'cos I'm a ditzy tart lol!!!)
