Post: # 72882Post limbert94 »

Hi All... please introduce myself… I’m Limbert Hutahaean a Media student (TV Production). I’m preparing for my final project for the course. I’m looking for some interesting topics for wildlife programme. It can be anything about animal or plant but it must be somewhere in North East England as I live in Sunderland. If anybody would help me for the topics please your best advices. And if anybody would help me in production you can talk to me at limbert94@yahoo.com BTW, I’m doing this project in professional broadcasting environment with 16:9 High Definition Camera and AVID non-linear editing. Thanks for your interest!

Hi
Nowhere near you unfortunately but good luck with your project.

I don't know if you have any ideas for your programme but how about highlighting the ways in which wildlife helps humans? How slugs eat dog poo, and are then eaten by birds and hedgehogs? Or something like that?

Cheers
Zoe

Thanks Zoe for your suggestion... Maybe you meant about The Food Chains... sounds interesting. I'll be thinking about that then. Cheers!

Hi
Yes that's right. I was partly thinking about the food chain but specifically thinking about how if humans mess with nature (by using slug pellets for example) what a mess we will end up in.

Another example might be looking at how bacteria and fungi break down leaves, plants, body waste etc. So using chemicals which destroy them will prevent our waste being disposed of.

Lots of possibilities for special effects.

Cheers
Zoe
