Hello...

We love hearing from you, so here is your chance. Introduce yourself and tell us what makes you selfsufficient 'ish'. Go on don't be shy, we welcome one and all. You can also tell us how you heard about us if you like.

Hello...

Post: # 71383Post Des »

Okay, I'm new here, but it looks like somewhere I could fit in. Just started with the allotment, and we're not very close to self-sufficiency (yet) but... It's all stuff in which I have a deep and abiding interest.

I look forward to learning from you folks, and if there's the slightest shred of an iota of experience which I can contribute in turn I'll be delighted to offer it.

I'm David, by the way, but everyone calls me Des. Except the ones who call me David. Hello...

Hello Des! Learning is always good.
I've become a lurker whilst life is busy but can't wait to get active again when I'm home for more than a day at a time.

Hello folks,

Thanks for the welcome! I look forward to getting to know you all better. Oh, and I like your sig, 9ball. A handy re-working of a classic.

I think I'll try to keep my contributions to a minimum for the time being; I don't know that I have much to contribute as yet, and if I say too much I might stop being Margo. And I quite like being Margo.

Is that wrong?
