we have lots of caulis all coming ready at the same time.. so apart from cauliflower cheese, veg curry and just having it as a veg anyone have any good recipes?

we froze some.. anyone know how well it does being frozen?

If you freeze it you must blanch in boiling water for a minute first or else the bacteria manks it up later.

Try dusting florets with cumin powder and dry roasting. The very best way to eat it I think.

Cauliflower soup is lovely too.

I made piccalilli - thanks 9ball - good suggestion as we had all the other veg needed

and i froze the rest..

I did like the look of this spanish crispy cauliflower recipe- but not tried it yet.

I put stuff like that in lasagne, make a nice bharji too blanched then stir fried with mustard seeds and spices and bit of stock added
