Build your own low-impact natural home (£11,000 in Poland)

Post: # 69589Post naturalhomes »

I guess building your own low-impact natural home is probably one of the most significant things you can do on the path to self sufficiency.

I run http://naturalhomes.org to help people find courses and to see example homes at http://naturalhomes.org/homesmap.htm.

Just to give you an idea of what can be done. Find the straw bale house near Warsaw on the map. It was built by Paulina on 2 acres of land and only cost £11,000 including the land.

If you take a look on the map, click the icons to see a picture of the home and follow the link to the owner's website.

If you know about any homes that could go on the map write to me here or at house@naturalhomes.org

I'd love some feedback about naturalhomes. Please come back to this thread to tell me what you think.

Regards, Oliver
