Hello everyone

<waves>

This is an ace site, an absolute godsend to someone like me who is taking the plunge into self-sufficiency and doesn't know where to start.

Me and my husband are going to leave the world of bricks and mortar in a few months and join an intentional community based on permaculture principles in the wilds of Wales. We plan to live in a yurt. Everything will be off grid. Can't wait!

However I know nothing really, about the practicalities so the next few motnhs are going to be research research research and I am here to pick a few brains and share experiences.
