hi i've had this site saved in my favourites for ages and to my suprise its still up and running.
Seems like its just my thing.
This is my second year of growing fruit/vegetables organically in my garden.
So far this year we've eaten:
strawberries
raspberries
rhubarb
gooseberries
mangetout
potatoes
salad leaves
sping onions
rocket
sweetcorn
butternut squashes are still growing
I like many this year had blight on my potatos and lost all my tomatos (gutted) however the spuds are just about ok.
We also have a 2 year old apple tree with one apple on ,as i pruned it and probably forgot one branch!
I am interested in foraging, native plants and wildlife.
I found this site last year when looking for recipes for elderflowers and blackberries.
This week I have made my first batch of bramble jelly of the year, and I'm sure i'll be making lots more!
That was a long intro sorry. I'll go now....
greetings from the New Forest

Hi Fluttergirl
Welcome to the site and thanks for the intro. It's great to get to know new people.
We all seem to have had a mixed year in the garden. My veggies gave up and I just have a few straggly potatoes this year. The toms are good but they are inside and they are soooo late. I've only had a few so far.
The raspberries have just started blushing but yesterday's rain had them running for cover again but the damsons are gorgeous.
Cheers
Zoe
