had a really nice day - pressing apples - see other thread.. and picking veg - doing more on making our own hen house, picnic lunch in the garden, bbq in the evening.. just... summer!

Today was my parents Golden Wedding day. I was supposed to be at work but Chris had such a bad night that I took the day off to support him. I called at my folks and had the priviledge of being their first visitor of the day - they had a party planned for the afternoon - and we had a glass of champagne and I helped my mum get ready for the party. I was only there a short time (we went back later) but I felt truly honoured to be able to share it with them - after all in this day and age to have a marriage survive 50 years is quite a feat!

yes - 50 years is a milestone definitely to celebrate
