Hiya all

I've been away for a few days with a bad neck and really shouldn't be spending too much time online - so I hope you'll forgive me if I say a blanket HELLO to all of you that have joined recently - You've found a great site

Looking forward to getting to know you all better.

Howdy Shirlz, I was only thinking last night you'd been unusually quiet.....don't take that the wrong way hon!, Take care of yourself and hope your back in form soon.
((hugs)) but not too tightly so not to hurt!

Kind thoughts
Deb

Hi, thanks for the welcome. I look forward to posting and reading. We have an allotment due to the fact that we used to grow veggies in our garden but the arrival of our 2 boys and the ball games that they play, soon put an end to that!! Trappled bean plants etc did not go down well.
I especially look forward to sharing recipes - anyone got any good and simple things to do with beetroot (boursk soup has been my limit up to now!!)
Thanks :geek:

Hi Directbulbs and welcome!

I'm sure there are a number of beetroot recipes in the recipe section - I know there's been discussion about beetroot cake that's for sure!

I've moved the excellent and very scrummy beetroot recipes that were posted in this thread to the recipe section so that more people can take advantage of their potential tastiness YUM YUM YUM - click here to see them

I can recommend the beetroot chocolate cake - if you don't tell folk there's beetroot in it, they'll never guess it!
