Here's something I've been wondering about re. the flooding. Given that so much land is now under water, and has been for a few days, does this mean that all the ground-living creatures wil be wiped out from large areas? Not just rabbits, mice, voles, etc., but earwigs, millipedes, worms... all the things that make the ground ecology work.
Does this mean that there will be large areas with a broken ecology until they can be reassimilated by these things?
