Broad bean seeds are really easy to save, provided you only grow one variety. Just let half a dozen plants stand where they are until the pods are starting to dry out, and then lift them and put the pods on a rack to dry further. Once they're dried out remove the beans, pick over to take any blemished ones out, and leave them in an airing cupboard to dry out completely. Store in a dry place, labelled with the year on. Should save a few euros next year - Huzzah!
