Another good reason Fee.
The Australian leg was mostly Australian bands but I don't know if any of them jetted to another destination. More than likely I would say some did :flower:

b. Those who don't give a damn!

I was a pretty simple message - recycle, save electric, don't use plastic bags... that people either do or don't care about (at least in the UK).

Don't want to be overly cynical, but the whole cult of celebrity thing that rules us gets to me! :angry4:

On the subject of Plastic bags. One of our local supermarkets here rewards you for using your own bags by giving a 3 cent discount per bag. Doesn't sound like much but I love it and it will hopefully catch on one day to the others. :flower:

Oh Emma me to but I still wear a lot of black but since my back injury I am now what my son calls happily Bohemian. I still listen to the heavy metal music and all the bands my son loves.
I still tend to shall we say not fit in around the place bacause of my ideals I think thats why I love it in here. Lots of like minded lovely people :flower:

Hmm, if each isher (vegetarians obviously can opt out) eats 2 heavy polluters a day.....

Seriously though you are spot on and it's a message that governments are having trouble with, this isn't an issue for political maneuvering but possibly for the first time the whole world must act as one!

Except for the time they all got together and tried to build the Tower of Babel ;)

I think the biggest problem at the moment, on a global scale, is nations (particularly the huge ones like China) catching up on consumerism. Places like the UK are getting cleaner and greener (although arguably not enough); however, as other places aspire to "Western" standards of living, an awful lot of environmental havoc is being wreaked.
