Hi Emma,
I'm in the Netherlands (near Utrecht), but don't know anyone actually living self sufficient here. So can't help you there, I'm afraid. I've just got an allotment and try to grow some of my own veg and fruit. If there's anything you'd like to ask, fire away. I'm not sure I'll know the answer, though.
Regards, Jandra

Hi Emma. Welcome to the forum from downunder. I was in Holland in 1963. We stayed in Amsterdam and went to see the tulips at the Keukenhof Gardens. One of the greatest sites I have seen for flowers.

I'm trying to be self-sufficient-ish on one acre, have a donkey, getting chickens soon and maybe 2 goats.
Good luck with your ventures
