Anyone got a good ginger cordial recipe?

You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Anyone got a good ginger cordial recipe?

I've been drinking Rocks organic ginger cordial and jolly nice it is too... but it's expensive to buy even through our food co-op... so I thought I'd like to have a bash at making my own.

I've seen a couple of recipes via a google search, but wondered whether anyone has a really GOOD tried and tested recipe that gives a wonderfully spicy end result.
