I have been up the Haka the last few days. Well that is how it is said locally, but for those who aren't local I have been up the Hakataramea Valley. I've been feeding the stock and looking after the dogs on a Invercory Station that runs up onto the Kirkliston Range.
I amd feeding 3 mobs of sheep, each in the thousands, and 2 mobs of cattle which number in the hundreds, and I can do it all sitting on my big fat backside in the cab of an 80 hp. tractor, and the only time I have to get out is to open the gates.
Yesterday I tried to take a few photos but the sun was so bright that not many came out too good.
Looking down the valley towards the St.Mary's range and then Mt. Dommett and on to the Kakanui Ranges.

And one mob of ewes I have been feeding.
But today was a bit different.
The same mob of ewes.
And one of the mobs of cattle.
She's a great country Eh!
