Just an introduction

Post: # 63671Post The Kilner Man »

My name is Peter Denyer and my user name is The Kilner Man. I live in the country in Surrey and have done all my life. I am semi retired. I grow a lot of veg and we are self sufficent for about 6-7 months of the year. I always bottled fruit taking over from my mother but I found that I could no longer buy seals being an engineer I got someone to make me some and it has developed into quite a little business, I now collect recondition and sell complete jars as well.

Hello! I watched an interesting programme which involved kilner jars. Jeremy Clarkson tracing his line and finding he is related to the inventor of the kilner jar. I love programmes like that lol.
