do you dry them outside in the sun or inside?

Last year and the year before I left them in the sun for a few hours but as the soil was pretty dry they weren't caked in mud anyway.

This year I don't know what I would suggest! Under cover I guess, on some newspaper?

The less sun they get the better. Best is to never let them even see the sun.
