Sun-dried cherries

Post: # 61635Post Clara »

Assuming that we can harvest them faster than we can eat them....

I´d like to sun dry some of our cherries for use in homemade muesli (ever get that feeling you´re becoming a parody of yourself  !), does any one have any experience doing this?

I was going to pit them and leave them in the sun on a rack, I suppose I could also wait for the solar cooker to cool to 140F and dehydrate them in there (but would that work with the lid shut?). We have plenty of sun (and wind at the moment) and really low humidity.
