Eggs....

Post: # 61759Post chadspad »

I have just found a 8 chicken eggs under a bush. I dont know how long theyve been there, altho I dont suspect it to be long. Is there anyway I can tell if theyre alright to eat or if theyre bad? Isnt there a test of putting them in water?[/quote]

Yup!

If they sink they're fresh if they float they're stale.

The test is not foolproof as I have cracked and used "stale" eggs and cracked a "fresh" one only to find it was off, green and stunk lke you wouldn't believe. :pukeleft:
