Post: # 58275Post Nikki »

Simple question - what are fodder trees?
I'm thinking they might be trees that provide edible foods?

In NZ certain willows and poplars are grown to suppliment animal fodder in times of food shortages.

Yeah. My father used to call the willows in the creek river lucerne cos we would cut them for feed for the cows in times of drought, of which we seemed to get every summer those days.
