I'm surprised I haven't come across this before - I'm addicted to geotagging the photos on my Flickr account and sometimes also use that to check out an area I am due to visit. This looks like an even better resource for many parts of the UK.

I was surprised to find that it's been going for 2 years or thereabouts.... I've managed to get one 'first geograph' and there are a few in my area that haven't been taken.

Thanks - you have some nice images in your own collection, too (am I right in guessing that you are working through a large backlog of photos? the dates seem all over the place).

Nothing on Geograph yet though, and it is fairly densely filled in round here.
