I think that he has got full time employment, Shiney, which must be keeping him busy. I haven't heard anything from him for weeks.

Where are you mate?

Yeah, we are missing you!

If you are working then I hope it's all going well for you.

Maybe he's dug himself in at his allotment for the Summer break?

I think he's still not back on the net, and working hard.

:andy: Well, we've always got this guy here, to remind us what he looks like!

Hi all,

Just popping my head in for a bit, having been AWOL...

I heard from Andy a couple of weeks back and he's just fine - normal service will be resumed soon.

In the meantime, kick about your thoughts and ideas of ways we can make a difference to this big green and blue thing we live on and on a lighter note, enjoy the weekend!

See you around! :flower:

About time too, it's been very dry recently.

Good to know Andy's live and kicking.

Ooops yep been pretty rubbish reccently, started full time work and don't seem to have any time on my hands. How have you all done it for long and been so selfsufficientish, hats off to you. There is a problem with the broadband company that I am with. They have told me I am cut off but have not actually been cut off so another company cannot connect me without them disconnecting me. Am I making any sense?

In short looks like I will have to go dial up for a bit until it is all resolved, but can I find a disk in any shops. nope not anywhere, most infuriating. and why is it that you have to be on-line before you can connect on-line...AHHHHH.

I think we need to give an especially big round of applause  and a thank you to Wombat for holding the fort whilst I am technically incapactitated.

So in short don't worry still about and hopefully back on soon. any pms about cheap dial up for a mac OSX 10.3.9 will be greatfully recieved.

Yeah, I'll second that, Wulf!

Thanks Andy - but it's really everyone working together that keeps things going rather than me......

Nice to see you Andy! Sorry to hear that you are having connection problems ~ what a nightmare the ISP's can be when you want to leave them.

Hope it all gets sorted out soon and we see you here. How's the lotty then? You should be harvesting quite a bit now shouldn't you?

I don't want to say a time again for getting back on as I seem to jinx any time limit that I put, but soon. My girlfriend Emma has taken the oportunity to carry on writing her fantasy book whilst she has a chance to actually get on the computer, so some good has come of me not being on.

I am missing the forum actualy. Some good news myself and dave have been asked to talk at an organic festival up north. Some bloke from the bbc is sorting it out and it should be full of media people. Will keep you all posted.

The lottie yep two words, Perpetual spinach, it certainly means it my cookbooks have had good use. Spinach ramekins has been the best so far I think.

Hi Andy, good to see you here even if you're not back permanently yet. Good news about the festival.

And spinach beet/perpetual spinach, my freezer is full of it! It also curries well.

Oh dear! I just chuck things in the pan........

You can use spinach beet in place of spinach for any curry recipe you have. I find it goes very well with coconut milk. I just sort of fried up some onions and garlic, maybe some ginger, chuck in a bit of powdered cumin and coriander, maybe some fennel seeds or whole cumin seeds, put in the spinach (already wilted/blanched just to make it easier) then add some coconut milk/cream and just cook it a bit!

It reminded me of ro-ro which is a veg dish from Fiji, where I was born. That is dalo greens cooked in coconut milk.
