The whales were back as we tied up by the jetty...

Anyway, obviously too much time on my hands if I'm taking photo's, off to do the dishes.

How lovely. A few years ago I really thought the whales were going to die out....
They're not weeds - that's a habitat for wildlife, don't you know?

Yes, although I still feel sorry for anyone who had korean, thai or japanese relatives, they just stood no chance when their sea walls failed so suddenly. Let's hope holland learns from the lesson and they evacuate rather than just keep raising the walls.

Incidentally has anyone else noticed that sunsets are less spectacular since atmospheric pollution levels have started to drop? Not that I'm complaining, just have to hope that the sunspots stay steady, the last thing we need is them going quiescent and causing an ice age!

Hello to all my good friends.

It has slipped my memory to be talking to you lately. I am sorry my memory is getting very poor. Can you please identify where you all are again for me, I am longing to visit with you.

Your friend

It sounds like your Alzheimer's medication patch has fallen off again.

Hi Fee
Those sound good. I guess they are nice and bulky as well. Great for making you look fat. Isn't it typical that I spent all those years trying and failing to diet. Then, when food became scarce, being fat becomes all trendy (have you seen Posh Spice recently - a size 24 now!)

I was just ahead of my time

Well, if anyone needs carbs to bulk them up, we've had a bumper rice harvest in Morecambe Bay and along the coastline!

We can trade rice for plastic (as we have none at all!) or if anyone has any *potatoes*, that would be great. Can't remember the last time we had those!

You'll need a boat though, as we're only really accessible over water now.

It was going to be on the spark-gap generator powered with batteries charged by an old alternator driven by a salvaged brushcutter engine running on distilled alcohol from my solar powered still...
