New Bird Bath.

Post: # 55919Post Karen_D »

I've been looking for something suitable as a bird bath. With the dry weather they were queing when we filled a bucket on the allotment! I have also heard that if they have access to water they are less likely to eat your fruit (not sure how accurate that is but it has to be worth a try).

I found this in a skip and will give it a good clean as I don't know what was in the barrel previously.

Free stuff and it means it doesn't go into landfill.

They will be very happy birds! I use a large plastic plant saucer.

One of our plastic washing baskets gave up the ghost. It had holey sides and a solid bottom. I cut away the broken sides and used the bottom as a bird bath.
