When my old shed was dismantled the poor builder discovered the dessicated remains of two foxes underneath. Well, Jack, they might be called foehn winds here in Dunedin, but they sure don't often feel like it!! Not often you get a warm, let alone hot, wind here.
I remember my then 5YO son stepping off the plane in Melbourne, and being shocked by the hot wind there, saying "But...but... it's windy but it's not cold!!" He just couldn't imagine such a thing!!
