I have developed an addiction to cereal bars lately.
Does anyone know any good recipes to make them?
I love the ones with bran flakes in, and fruit. How do i make them yummy?

Dried Fruit Bars
2 tablespoons honey
½ cup desiccated coconut (toasted)
½ cup rolled oats
150g chopped dried fruit medley (eg apricots, apples, sultanas)
1 cup sultanas
½ silvered almonds
1 cup dried skim milk powder
1/3 – ½ cup orange juice
1. Grease a 20x30cm tin
2. Warm the honey in a small pan on the stove then combine in a large bowl with toasted coconut, rolled oats, dried fruit, sultanas, almonds and skim milk.
3. Mix well and add just enough orange juice so that the mixture will hold together well.
4. Press the mixture into the tin and pat down firmly
5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
6. Cut the mixture into bars and serve.
Here's a recipe I just came across Fee, you could probably toss in some bran flakes as well!

This sounds quite nice and not too sweet - might try that out myself!
I find the ones that are really crunchy all contain lots of fat and sugar. So I'd rather not make them myself, as I would only eat more than is good for me of them - rather buy the odd one when I feel like it.
