Hi
I sowed some leeks 3 weeks ago in my unheated greenhouse. 1 week ago I moved them into my airing cupboard to see if that would chivvy them along a little - still no show to date.
At the same time as moving my first batch inside (1 week ago) I sowed a further batch of leeks just in case and put them inside a clear plastic bag and put them in the airing cupboard too.
Just wondered if im doing the right thing or do leeks need light to germinate? If so I'll get them out straightaway or can they stay put?????
Any advice on this would, as always, be very much appreciated.
Thanks heeps and heeps

Hi Mew, this link will tell you about leeks. Scroll down to "The Library" on the left and click on Growing Vegetables. A large list will appear.
