American Conversion Chart

I know that Jack was asking a while ago about a conversion chart to/from cups.

I found this one at waitrose.com:

Butter, margarine, lard 100g 8 tbsp / 1 stick
225g 1 cup
Breadcrumbs

Fresh 50g 1 cup
Dried 115g 1 cup

Cheese

Grated Cheddar 115g 1 cup
Diced Cheddar 170g 1 cup
Parmesan 150g 1 cup
Cream cheese 225g 1 cup
Cornflour 100g 1 cup

Dried Fruit

Currents, sultanas 150g 1 cup
Apricots 150-175g 1 cup
Prunes 175g 1 cup
Glacé cherries 125g 1 cup

Fish

Prawns, peeled 175g 1 cup
Fish, cooked & flaked, firmly packed 225g 1 cup

Nuts

Almonds, whole, shelled 150g 1 cup
Almonds, flaked 115g 1 cup
Hazelnuts 150g 1 cup
Walnuts & pecans 115g 1 cup
Almonds, ground & other ground nuts 115g 1 cup
Chopped nuts 115g 1 cup

Oats

Rolled oats 100g 1 cup
Oatmeal 175g 1 cup

Dried pulses

Split peas, lentils 225g 1 cup
Haricot beans 200g 1 cup
Kidney beans 300g 1 cup

Rice

Uncooked 200g 1 cup
Cooked & well drained 165g 1 cup
Semolina, ground rice and couscous 180g 1 cup

Sugar

Caster & granulated 225g 1 cup
Moist brown 200g 1 cup
Icing sugar 125g 1 cup

Vegetables

Onions, chopped 115g 1 cup
Cabbage, shredded 75g 1 cup
Peas, shelled 150g 1 cup
Beansprouts 50g 1 cup
Potatoes, peeled and diced 170g 1 cup
Spinach, cooked, purée 200-225g 1 cup

Golden syrup, treacle, clear honey 350g 1 cup
