My peppers have come up
I am so happy, my peppers have finally come up, they have been sub-terranian for so long I thought I was never going to see them, now they have finally come through, and I have to chare my excitement with people I know will care!!
They do take a while to germinate so it is a bit of a worry, all that waiting. It feels so good to see them sprout!

they will also take forever to go from two seed leaves to four real leaves
assuming you haven't grown them before (apologies if you have) here is a good tip.
you want really sturdy plants to hold up all those fruit....if they get too leggy you can repot and bury them up to their necks. Like tomatoes, they can send out roots further up the stem instead of branches.
last year I was dead chuffed to get more than twenty fruit per plant.
However, they were all pretty small so this year Ive sown more seeds so I can limit fruit set in the hope of getting lovely long pointy peppers for stuffing.
tis all experimental though....anyone tried this before? will it work?
