Nev, for some reason I missed this thread, and I've only just noticed the link to your blog in your sig.

Good luck with it all; I reckon three months is waaaaay to short a time for all the things a man like you wants to get stuck in to (and going back to work afterwards is gonna be just awful). Any chance you can fathom out a way to give up work completely? Take in several lodgers? Sell your body? Write the book on selfsufficiency?

Anyway, the important thing is to have a great three months. I'll be reading that blog with interest.

Yep, I've got a bit down to do alright and am working my way through it. I'm trying not to think about going back, but due to the nature of my job I'm getting one to two phone calls a day from work.

Maaaate! I have two non-paying lodgers at the moment, they take up all the space and are driving me crazy as it is  .
Sell your body?
Ummm this is not the sort of thing where 5 and 10 cent pieces are going to help
Write the book on selfsufficiency?
Funny you should mention that........

Thanks mate, I hope you find it worth reading!
