Things are definitely way past crisis point with the amount of plastic bags around. The maddening thing is the situation could so easily be sorted, by just carrying around spare bags, either cloth or some other hardy fabric. If supermarkets would only stop supplying them people would have no choice and it could not only save millions of pounds but make a difference to the planet too. :( maisypark
