Hello from way up north

Post: # 50475Post techno_bob »

Have been lurking around the place for the last couple of weeks. Thought I had better sign up and say hello.

Am very fortunate to live way up north in Shetland, in a remote house surrounded by open countryside, with my lovely wife and four children.

Will be regularly posting once I get to know my way around.

Hi from downunder. The way you describe your place makes me want to come and help with the hen house. Your blog has some great pics. How long have you been on your land?
Again welcome. Robin

I've got to add to my post.... I've just looked at your blog and where you live is just stunning. I wish we lived somewhere like that.

Where we are now is wonderful too, but I've always rather fancied living on an island and seeing the sea when I wake up and walk outside. Yes, I know, it's Shetland, and there will likely be days when you can't stand up outside your front door

I've not been to Shetland yet - Ina visited last year and hopefully we'll get up there one day.

It's me again, T_b, I looked up your place on Google Earth. It picked up Grobsness OK, but the area is blurred, but I can see you are on the mainland.

Hi Techno-Bob
I'm sure you'll find this forum useful - I have in the month or so since I've become a member. It's brilliant.

I love your blog and really look forward to reading the updates. It certainly looks beautiful there.

Cheers
Zoe
