Pigs in Space.......... .....

Post: # 49916Post Ireland-or-bust »

Hi all,

Last year i had a lamb (Mr Lambon) and whats left of him now resides
at Number 1, My fridge.

He was ok but no much meat and too much like hard work picking
at it.

This year i want a couple of pigs. I only need one but i heard i need
two as they get lonely.

I have two options for there home.

One a purpose built pig sty/barn about 12x12 and stone.
But if i use this they will only get a yard of concrete about 15x15
for stouting about.

The other is out in a field. As i'm starting my mother-of-all-veg-gardens
this year they wont have much space there either, but would be still 50x50ft. at least. Its grass now.

Which would be best? i want to eat them.
Thats if i can find a butcher to kill them.
My local one is a halal one, i might struggle there.

Mark.
